Make Cocoa Tea
I would say it’s something in between coffee and tea. It has more body than tea and it still states like chocolate. But this is not a hot chocolate - it’s not sweet at all (unless you add sugar at the end).
Since cocoa contains a stimulant similar to caffeine it can give you a nice boost when you need it.
You can check out the video about how to brew cocoa here:
Here’s what you need to brew cocoa:
- 35 - 40g / 1 - 1.5 oz roasted cocoa beans for 1 mug of tea (if you don’t get your hands on beans, try cocoa nibs)
- boiling water
- tea sieve
- mug
Here’s how you do it:
- Boil your water
- Grind beans
- Add ground beans to tea sieve in mug
- Pour boiling water over it
- Let steep for 5 minutes
- Enjoy plain, with sugar, honey or milk.
